Van oudsher financierde Haella wereldwijd, vaak via en op verzoek van Nederlandse organisaties. In de afgelopen jaren hebben we steeds meer gewerkt met directe financiering in landen zelf en het overdragen van verantwoordelijkheden naar mensen in de landen waar we mee samen werken.

Onlangs zijn we begonnen met een pilot. Er zijn, op initiatief van de partners twee Haella families gevormd: \u00e9\u00e9n in Noord en \u00e9\u00e9n in Centraal Oeganda. Deze families hebben gezamenlijk vastgesteld waar ze op in willen zetten en welke partners ze daar bij willen zoeken. De families bestaan uit Haella partners en lokale experts.

Dit houdt in dat:
– De partners in de families gezamenlijk voorstellen wat de prioriteiten zijn. Gekozen is voor: geweld tegenvrouwen\/ tienerzwangerschappen\/school drop outs voorkomen.
– De partners zelf nieuw partners aandragen en adviseren over andere aanvragen uit Oeganda
– Er per familie een capaciteitsversterkingstraject wordt ingezet bepaald door de partners in overleg met de experts, gefinancierd door Haella
– Er geen projecten in Oeganda meer gefinancierd worden die niet rechtstreeks zijn aangevraagd door de uitvoerende partner<\/strong>
