Project: Rights Education to Thurumbar

We aim to liberate fifty ultra-poor minority families with a community-led transformation by addressing their poverty and unemployment. The main reason being the lack of awareness, minority- elected personnel will be trained in human rights advocacy, joint-leadership, mobilization, community responsibility, and human rights violation prevention. They will sensitize the target-minority through initiation, development, promotion, integration, and upholding of education and awareness with a rights-based approach. These leaders will uplift minorities with information knowledge and strategies as instruments. The project aims to mobilize the minorities to work for and avail of the schemes and rights offered by the Government thereby self-alleviating poverty and unemployment.
